SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2: Nearly 40 New Stills Released From The Upcoming Video Game Sequel

With less than a week to go, Paramount Pictures have released nearly forty brand new hi-resolution stills from Jeff Fowler's Sonic the Hedgehog 2, revealing a stellar new look at what should be one of the most fun films of the year.

There aren't any spoilers in the following images, but with the film now out in France and in the Netherlands, fans should be a little wary until they've seen the film as there are some major spoilers already floating around on the interwebs. 

The hotly-awaited sequel stars James Marsden as Tom Wachowski, Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic, Tika Sumpter as Maddie Wachowski, Natasha Rothwell as Rachel, Adam Pally as Wade Whipple, Shemar Moore as Randall, Colleen O'Shaughnessey as Tails, with Idris Elba as Knuckles, and Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik. 

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 hits theaters on April 8 - with early access screenings beginning Wednesday, April 6!
