Newsbrief: Sony has confirmed it’s working on bringing PlayStation 2 titles to the PlayStation 4.

Speaking to Wired, who reached out to Sony after Eurogamer noticed a number of PS2 games were being included in a Star Wars: Battlefront console bundle, the company explained it’ll be using emulation tech to bring those games to its current-gen system.

“We are working on utilizing PS2 emulation technology to bring PS2 games forward to the current generation,” said a Sony representative. “We have nothing further to comment at this point in time."
