Square Enix has finally released a brand-new video for Crystal Dynamics' highly anticipted, and long-awaited MARVEL's Avengers, and it isn't the kind of video fans would want to see. Don't worry, though, the game hasn't been delayed or anything like that; at least that we know of.
What the developer has revealed in this new video for the game is that players will be getting more gameplay for MARVEL's Avengers during Crystal Dynamics' Avengers WAR TABLE stream on the 24th of June — which is great news, considering that we really haven't seen any new gameplay since last year's Gamescom presentation; a presentation that the developers should've released during the E3 that year.
Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics promise that this special MARVEL's Avengers stream will reveal new trailers for the game and brand-new gameplay footage that will show off co-op gameplay and story missions; some of the aspects players are the most curious about.
MARVEL's Avengers has already been pushed back once, and will now be relesing early in September. The fact that this video still states that the launch date is still the 4th of September is definitely reassuring — especially after the whole working from home issues most developers have had to deal with in recent times.
Check it out:
Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
Marvel's Avengers will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on the 4th of September.
