Square Enix is first major publisher for Ouya

Newsbrief: Square Enix is the first major publisher to show its support for the upcoming Ouya Android OS video game console, announcing that classic RPG Final Fantasy III will be available to download for the console at launch. Final Fantasy III was originally released in 1990 for the NES console, and already has an Android version available via Google Play. In a statement, the company said that it is also considering providing "additional content" for the Ouya in the future. This is the latest in a string of big-name announcements for the Ouya. Previously, cloud gaming service OnLive has pledged its support for the console, while Robert Bowling, previously Infinity Ward's Call of Duty creative strategist, revealed that the first game from his new studio will be an Ouya exclusive.
