A couple of weeks ago, Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy was finally released for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. To the surprise of players, the game had an issue that compromised the online experience, as unintentional crossplay with PC had console players being massacred by veteran PC players.
The problem lied within the fact that console players were either being sent to PC servers, or PC players were willingly joining console servers and having the time of their lives obliterating new players that cannot play the game with a mouse and keyboard.
Aspyr promptly announced that they were aware of the issue, and that they were already working on an update that aimed to solve the unintentional crossplay problem — because, at that point, it was not even worth trying to play online; it was quite the spectacle, though, we have to admit.
Fortunately, the whole fiasco has already been fixed, as Aspyr rolls out new update for Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy that fixes the unintended crossplay on all platforms, implements additional multiplayer security code, and has also fixed some minor bugs.

Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy is considered to be one of the best multiplayer games based on the Star Wars series, and it is nice to finally see the game running on current gen consoles. Now that the crossplay issue has been fixed, there's no excuse for players to forge their weapon and fight other people online.
