Electronic Arts has just released Star Wars: Squadrons on the PC and we can confirm that the game uses the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. The publisher has not listed Denuvo on the game’s Steam store page, something that could mislead a number of gamers.
The presence of Denuvo does not surprise of course. After all, Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order also used – and still are using – Denuvo.
In Star Wars Squadrons, players take control of starfighters such as the X-wing and TIE fighter. According to EA, we’ll be able to play both sides in this Star Wars game. Players will also be able to customize loadouts and cosmetics, divert power between weapons, shields, and engines.
