Suffolk University Introduces Game Development Major

Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts announced that it has launched a new Interactive Media and Game Development major in its College of Arts and Sciences. The major was proposed and developed by faculty members from Suffolk's Computer Science, New England School of Art & Design, and Communications and Journalism departments. The Interactive Media and Game Development major at Suffolk integrates with a second major in Computer Science, and prepares students for careers in game testing, 2D and 3D art and modeling, designing, and programming. Portions of the major -- including the Digital Games Culture course -- additionally cross over into Suffolk's Communications and Journalism and Art & Design departments.
