Newsbrief: Nintendo's Super Mario Galaxy is now the ninth Nintendo Wii game to sell 5 million units in the U.S., according to data from tracking firm the NPD Group. The company said that strong sales of the game helped the Wii achieve the 39 million units sold figure, revealed earlier this year. The console saw a 50 percent increase in hardware sales month-over-month for February, with 228,000 units sold. Elsewhere, Nintendo noted that Super Mario 3D Land has now sold 1.9 million units in the U.S., while Mario Kart 7 has sold 1.5 million.
