Ubisoft has announced that filming on the Watch Dogs movie adaptation by New Regency has wrapped, more than 10 years after the film was announced.

Ubisoft has revealed that New Regency's movie adaptation of the Watch Dogs video game franchise has begun filming. The movie stars Tom Blyth and Sophie Wilde.

Watch Dogs is the latest Ubisoft video game franchise to get a movie adaptation with reports that Talk To Me star Sophie Wilde is in talks to star in the film.

Ubisoft's Watch Dogs: Legion is available to play for free this weekend with access to the single-player campaign and online modes.
