Wildlife Studios' hit mobile game, Tennis Clash, is the closest thing that fans of the sport can get to real-time tennis games on the go. The title is best known for its stylized animations and realistic gameplay for each and every tennis match.
This fall, the developers have a bit of a surprise for fans of the game by introducing the Laver Cup! The limited event is inspired by Australian tennis legend Rod Laver who is the only person to have won all four Grand Slam singles titles in the same year, twice! This new event will feature online play with players competing in either singles or doubles matches (exclusive to the new event).
The game will have player's characters dressed in the red and blue colors of Team Europe and Team World and will 10-point match tie breaks on a black court! More details on the tournament can be found here. A real-life virtual version of the tournament will also be held, which will designate players (based on their stats) into four brackets (Beginner, Rookie, Junior, and Challenger).
The winner of the tournament will receive a pair of tickets to attend Laver Cup 2021 at TD Garden in Boston, United States; while the runner up will win a limited-edition racket, signed by tennis superstar Roger Federer, and third place will win commemorative Laver Cup merch!
