Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games announced — just a few weeks ago, in fact — the second episode in the critically acclaimed The Dark Pictures Anthology, and direct sequel to Man of Medan, with a spine-chilling trailer that introduced us to the game's new protagonists.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope is expected to release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in Summer of this year, but other than the official announcement trailer, the game's new setting, and the new protagonists, we really didn't get much information about the project.
Today Bandai Namco has shared a behind the scenes video for the game, which sees Supermassive Games CEO and The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope Director Pete Samuels revealing a bunch of new details about the upcoming horror title.
According to Samuels, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope will be bringing back a handful of elements seen in Man of Medan, such as multiple endings, couch co-op, and the critically acclaimed "two player online shared story mode."
An alternative Curator's mode has also been added to the upcoming game, which wil lallow players to play as different characters. Samuels also reveals that The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope has been influenced by movies and literature; specifically mentioning "The Witch", "Season of the Witch", "Blair Witch", "Hellraiser", and even the "Silent Hill" series.
