We're approaching that time of year again; the time of year when Geoff Keighley takes to the stage of the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles to present The Game Awards! The show itself will be livestreamed on December 9th; just about three weeks from now.
The nominees for each category will be revealed much sooner though, within twenty-four hours, in fact. Keighley will be presenting from the Microsoft Theater on Tuesday, November 16th at 9 AM PT and revealing the nominees for all thirty categories. The show will be live on both YouTube and Twitch.
Keighley has teased that upwards of forty to fifty games will be shown off during the upcoming event in some capacity, claiming that virtually every developer and publisher wants in on the spotlight. Additionally, the presenter has confirmed that the event will be totally free of NFTs.
As well as announcing that the nominees will be revealed soon as well as the exact date of the Game Awards themselves, Keighley has shared an impressive CGI teaser for the event which invites you to "Venture into the unknown." Check it out below.
