THE WONDERFUL 101 REMASTERED: Physical Release Has Been Delayed, PlatinumGames Announces

We may have some upsetting news for players who have been anticipating the release of The Wonderful 101: Remastered, particularly those who have pre-ordered a physical copy of the game as the developer reveals that the game's physical launch has been delayed.

PlatinumGames has revealed that the decision to delay the release of The Wonderful 101: Remastered's physical copies is due to the Coronavirus pandemic, which has pushed back the release to the 30th of June in North America and the 3rd of July in Europe.

The good news is that this is only affecting the physical release, so The Wonderful 101: Remastered is still scheduled to launch in North America on the 19th of May, in Europe on the 22nd of May, and on the 11th of June in Japan.

PlatinumGames has also revealed that those backers who were affected by the delay will be getting a free Steam code so that they can still play The Wonderful 101: Remastered when it launches, instead of having to wait for their physical copies to arrive. The developer also thanked everyone for their patience, and hopes that they all stay safe and healthy.
