When PlatinumGames officially revealed that they were working on a remastered edition of The Wonderful 101, after the game had been rumoured to be in the works some time prior to the announcement, those who got the chance to play the original were beyond excited.
PlatinumGames didn't exactly reveal that the game was coming out, however, as it was all up to fans to fund the game via a Kickstarter campaign; a campaign that hit its first goal within a few hours since it was announced, mind you.
The Wonderful 101: Remastered isn't just a better-looking version of the original Nintendo Wii U title, as it is also getting a bunch of new content that are also locked behind Kickstarter stretch goals.
A bit under a month ago, in fact, PlatinumGames confirmed that "Luka's First Mission", a brand-new 2D adventure that wasn't part of the original game, was also being added to the game after they hit their $1.5 million dollar stretch goal.
