These Four Classic CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS Maps Will Reportedly Be Returning In CALL OF DUTY 2020

It seems like just yesterday that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was revealed and launched but it's almost time to welcome the next major instalment in the long-running first-person shooter video game series.

Infinity Ward handled the most recent instalment, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone at that, so Treyarch are at the helm of the next one.

Rumour has it, the next Call of Duty entry will be a reboot of sorts for the Call of Duty: Black Ops subseries — just as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was for that subseries.

It's believed that "Call of Duty 2020" will be set during the Cold War.

What's more, Tom Henderson (previously known as The Gaming Revolution) seems to have a scoop regarding some classic Call of Duty maps that will be returning in the upcoming instalment.

They're quite the reputable source when it comes to Call of Duty.

According to Henderson, such classic maps as Nuketown, Firing Range, Jungle, and Summit will be remastered for Call of Duty 2020.

If previous instalments are anything to go by, this is very likely.

These maps have already been remastered countless times over the years for various Call of Duty: Black Ops games as well as Call of Duty: Mobile.

Now, the Call of Duty playerbase was largely not too fond of these maps being remastered again and again before so it will be a wonder how they will react this time around — as well as why Treyarch thought that doing so yet again would be a good idea. Nonetheless, this isn't official information so there's still hope that it isn't accurate.
