This CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE 3 Dr DisRespect Easter Egg Went Undiscovered For Eleven Years

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 released for seventh generation consoles and PCs all the way back in November 2011; that's over a decade ago!

This particular entry in the huge first-person shooter video game franchise was developed in part by both Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games.

Guy Beahm, better known by his online alias 'Dr. DisRespect', is a controversial live streamer who was notably inexplicably banned from Twitch but later resurfaced on YouTube.

Before taking on the excessively macho online persona, Beahm served as the community manager and later a level designer at Sledgehammer Games, working on such games as Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare as well as the aforementioned Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Well, it turns out, a reference to Beahm and his future persona was placed within the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 mission, "Scorched Earth," potentially by Beahm himself, and went undiscovered for eleven years.

At least, that was until @ModernWarzone recently shared their discovery on social media.

Though posted in the early hours of April 1st, the Easter Egg is not an April Fool's Day joke.

The Easter Egg itself is a book with "Guy Beahm" emblazoned upon it, along with what would eventually become the logo of Beahm once he took on the above-mentioned online persona.
