This is why Wooga is switching from browser to mobile games

Social games company Wooga said this week that it's going all-in on mobile game development in 2013, having seen success on mobile platform over the last year. Wooga released its first mobile title Diamond Dash 14 months ago, and now sees a 50/50 split between revenue coming from its web and mobile games. As a result, the company revealed four new and upcoming mobile games that it plans to release in 2013, including a town defense game called Kingsbridge, and hidden-object title Pearl's Peril. Wooga told Gamasutra last year that, while Facebook is still an important platform for the company, mobile is now a "significantly bigger" platform that the studio is focusing on.
