Every week, sister iPhone and iPad site FingerGaming rounds up the top-grossing iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad applications, as current that day in the iTunes App Store, and this chart is now available on Gamasutra. This week's U.S. revenue charts see Lego Harry Potter and RAGE HD leading iPhone sales, while Trucks and Skulls emerges as a top seller on the iPad. These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money on the App Store that day. It differs significantly from the Top 10 Games chart, which is ranked by sales, and therefore is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies. Data comes courtesy of Apple's public sales information. All titles in the App Store's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings. This week's top-grossing iPhone titles are: 1. Angry Birds ($0.99) 2. Smurfs' Village (Free) 3. Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 ($4.99) 4. RAGE HD ($1.99) 5. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit ($4.99) 6. Cut the Rope ($0.99) 7. Tap Zoo (Free) 8. Haypi Kingdom (Free) 9. Star Wars Arcade: Falcon Gunner ($4.99) 10. Tetris ($0.99) Rovio's Angry Birds reclaims the top spot in today's chart, pushing last week's highest-grossing iPhone game Smurfs' Village to second place. Lego Harry Potter finishes its debut week at third place, as id Software's RAGE HD follows close behind at fourth. EA's Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit moves up to fifth place in its second week of release, while the free-to-play Tap Zoo and Haypi Kingdom earn enough microtransaction revenue to overtake LucasArts' recently released augmented reality game Star Wars Arcade: Falcon Gunner. Here are this week’s top-grossing iPad applications: 1. Scrabble for iPad ($4.99) 2. Angry Birds HD ($4.99) 3. Smurfs' Village (Free) 4. Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 ($4.99) 5. RAGE HD ($1.99) 6. Trucks and Skulls HD ($1.99) 7. Plants vs. Zombies HD ($9.99) 8. We Rule Quests for iPad (Free) 9. Cut the Rope HD ($1.99) 10. Fruit Ninja HD ($4.99) EA's Scrabble takes top honors in today's iPad chart following a recent price drop, pushing former sales leaders Angry Birds HD and Smurfs' Village to second and third place. Lego Harry Potter makes its first appearance at fourth place, while RAGE HD finishes fifth overall. Appy's Trucks and Skulls HD climbs to sixth place after being named as Apple's iPad Game of the Week. Plants vs. Zombies HD continues to see strong sales at seventh, as We Rule Quests, Cut the Rope HD, and Fruit Ninja HD close out today's sales rankings.
