Engine provider Unity has announced today plans to launch a series of "women in gaming" talks across the globe.
The goal of the series, according to a new blog post by Unity's chief people officer Elizabeth Brown, is "to tackle some of the difficult topics around development of women’s careers in gaming, while offering women the opportunity to network and learn from each other about topics such as career building, leadership, strategic thinking and organizational dynamics."
The series will kick off with a talk in Amsterdam next month, by Three Fields Entertainment founder Fiona Sperry, before moving on to talks in San Francisco, Shanghai, and Los Angeles.
All talks will be free and open to the public, according to the company.
