Here's something you don't see every day: Deep Silver Volition, developers of the Saints Row franchise, have released a downloadable file of an unreleased game in the franchise to the wild.
The game is distributed in ISO format for Sony's PSP handheld, and was neither completed nor released; the handheld, at its peak, was home to a number of exclusive offshoots of popular triple-A franchises, from Final Fantasy to Metal Gear Solid and Star Wars Battlefront, among many others.
The file is available for download right now.
The studio also posted a 122-page Game Design Document for the cancelled game, and demonstrated it in a Twitch stream prior to releasing it to the wild.
