The upcoming video game, Alice Gear Aegis Expansion, will be officially premiering this April! The anime is based off of the popular action video game Alice Gear Aegis.
The opening theme performed by Aina Suzuki (DON'T TOY WITH ME, MISS NAGATORO ED), titled "Dash and Go!," is officially the first of a brand-new anime season to be given the routine creditless video treatment. The story of Alice Gear Aegis Expansion takes place in the far future, when humanity is forced to flee Earth after an attack from mechanical lifeforms known as Weiss. These beings can be combated by Actresses: young women adept at using high-dimensional weapons known as Alice Gear. Under the supervision of AEGiS, private companies of Actresses head out into the universe to exterminate Weiss and save the human race from being doomed to wander the universe forever.
Alice Gear Aegis Expansion is directed by Hirokazu Hanai (DON'T TOY WITH ME, MISS NAGATORO) at anime studio Nomad. The series is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Japan on April 3!
