Verizon adopts game subscription service for its Android devices

Newsbrief: Major cellular network Verizon Wireless announced today that it's bringing Exent's GameTanium service to its Android smartphones and tablets, allowing consumers to pay a monthly fee for unlimited access to a number of popular mobile games. For $5.99 per month, Verizon Android customers will gain access to more than 100 different mobile games, with major titles including Doodle God, Fruit Ninja, and World of Goo. Outside of Verizon, Exent has also partnered with numerous other carriers around the world, though Verizon is the first U.S.-based carrier for the platform.
