Open world games are nothing new anymore, but recently the number of them featuring online and cooperative play is rising. So I think it's time to create my personal list of level design guidelines for this new exciting design formula and pack it into an video.

Each guideline is split into a bad and a recommended case, with an animated example reinforcing the situation and design direction.
