Warframe fans are finding it hard to believe that the free-to-play, third-person shooter MMO has been around for 7 years but that's exactly what developer Digital Extremes is celebrating in 2020. After launching on PC in March 25, 2013, the game now has over 50 million players in multiple countries and on numerous platforms. To celebrate this accomplishment, players can earn a free set of Dex Raksaka armor as well as any of the free items given away during past anniversaries. Just logging into your account during March will net players the Dex Raksaka armor while past anniversary items will be available on a weekly basis.
In addition to the free giveaway, Digital Extremes is holding a fan competition to design the next Warframe type. All you have to do is post your idea and any concept art to the forum. The deadline for submission is March 25. The top 10 designs will be voted on by Digital Extremes with the winner receiving an official design from Warframe community artist Eornheit that will be unveiled in July during TennoCon 2020.
