Warhammer 40K: Darktide has been delayed until Spring 2022

Fatshark has announced that its 4-player co-op Warhammer game, Warhammer 40K: Darktide, has been delayed until Spring 2022. Fatshark plans to use the extra time to both focus on the level of quality at release, as well as invest in more systems to support Darktide for years to come.

In Warhammer 40K: Darktide, players will need to combine both FPS and melee skills as they get up close and personal in visceral clashes between Imperium and Chaos factions.

Built on the legacy of Vermintide 2’s melee combat, Darktide introduces a deep and balanced gunplay to the mix. Players will have to master the balance between ranged and melee combat as they fight through a slew of enemies.

The game will also let players choose their class and customize their skillset and load-out. Players can upgrade their gear, customize their character’s looks, and prove their worth to the elusive Inquisitor.
