This week longtime game developer Clint Hocking published a video to his YouTube channel featuring himself and Ubisoft Toronto compatriot Mathieu Bérubé playing through the "Panama Bank" level of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.
It's worth watching because both Hocking and Bérubé actually worked on Chaos Theory: Bérubé as a level designer, and Hocking as lead level designer, creative director and script writer. The game was released in 2005, and Hocking left the company five years later -- only to return again last summer.
The video features an intriguing bit of level design analysis, and was inspired by last month's release of the Panama Papers, a massive package of private documents from the Panamamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca that were leaked to the press.
