Web Wise Kids Demonstrates Cyber-Safety Games at Capitol Hill Event

Internet safety education organization Web Wise Kids demonstrated a number of interactive games addressing teen issues at the 14th Annual Congressional Internet Caucus Advisory Committee Kickoff Technology Policy Exhibition this week in Washington DC. Among Web Wise Kids' offerings were It's Your Call, a web game focusing on sexting and cyberbullying, and Wired With Wisdom, an online safety guide aimed at Spanish-speaking parents. Launched in November last year, the Web Wise Kids website has reached over 10 million students in 4,000 schools, according to company representatives. "The Tech Policy Exhibition is an excellent opportunity for Web Wise Kids to showcase our newest educational game and share information about the resources we provide to children, parents and educators to reinforce online safety," comments Judi Westberg Warren, President of Web Wise Kids. "It is extremely important that our children have access to programs and educational support to help them make wise online choices."
