It's easy to get stressed out when your boss or client makes certain...requests (demands?). The request might be for a time-intensive task at the very end of your Friday, or a really vague description of a color that is only visible in the mind of your boss. But while these things are stressful or annoying at the time, looking back on some of the crazier requests can be both illuminating and hilarious. This afternoon, we took to Twitter (@gamasutra) and asked people in the game industry, "What's the most ridiculous game dev request you've ever received?" (Hat tip to this Reddit thread, which inspired this article.) We got responses from all kinds of game developers, from small independents to employees of big triple-A studios. We also got the inside track on a particularly amusing story that gives us an inside look at the initial pitching stages of CD Projekt Red's hit RPG The Witcher.
