NetEase has announced that Where Winds Meet will be released on November 14th. To celebrate this announcement, the team shared a new trailer that you can find below.
Where Winds Meet is a new third-person open-world game featuring action, adventure, and martial arts. From the looks of it, this feels like a mix between Ghost of Tsushima and Assassin’s Creed.
In this game, you play as a young sword master trying to learn the truth about who you really are. The game takes place during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period in China, a time full of power struggles, big battles, and political drama. You’ll explore many places, from the busy streets of the capital to quiet, hidden areas in the wild. Everywhere you go, you’ll find secrets, amazing sights, and stories to uncover.
Players will be able to scale rooftops with fluid parkour. They will ride the windstride across miles in moments, or use fast travel points to leap between regions. Plus, they will build their fighting style to match their rhythm – whether they thrive in the heart of melee, strike from afar, or move unseen in the shadows.
Where Winds Meet will have smooth and exciting martial arts combat. The game is based on classic wuxia fighting styles and weapons. Players can use many cool weapons like swords, spears, dual blades, glaives, fans, and even umbrellas. You’ll also be able to switch between weapons, use bows, and try out magical martial arts like Taichi to beat your enemies with skill and strategy.
The game will offer a rich, narrative-driven adventure with over 150 hours. It will have both solo and co-op modes. Up to 4 players will be able to play in seamless co-op. You’ll also be able to create and customize your character and progression. Plus, the game will have over 20 distinct regions for you to discover.
Where Winds Meet will support NVIDIA DLSS 4 with Multi-Frame Gen. You can also find its official PC requirements here.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
