Newsbrief: Microsoft has significantly lowered the annual fee for its Windows Phone development subscription, following what appears to have been a successful summer promotion for the service. The company previously held a promotion over the summer, allowing developers to sign up to the Windows Phone Dev Center for $19, down from the usual $99 annual fee. However, following the conclusion of the promotion, Windows Phone general manager Todd Brix announced that the annual fee will stay at $19. For this price, any developer can submit games and apps to the Windows Phone Store. All the details on how to register can be found on the Windows Phone Dev Center website.
