Windows Phone annual development fee permanently reduced

Newsbrief: Microsoft has significantly lowered the annual fee for its Windows Phone development subscription, following what appears to have been a successful summer promotion for the service. The company previously held a promotion over the summer, allowing developers to sign up to the Windows Phone Dev Center for $19, down from the usual $99 annual fee. However, following the conclusion of the promotion, Windows Phone general manager Todd Brix announced that the annual fee will stay at $19.
