Newsbrief: In a company blog post this morning, an Xbox One representative said that gameplay recording and live streaming through Twitch.TV would not be available through the console until early next year. "We are working to ensure the initial Twitch on Xbox One broadcasting experience meets the expectations of the Twitch community," the representative wrote. "Our goal is to deliver it during the first part of 2014." Twitch community manager Jason Rea posted a similar announcement to Twitch's blog, assuring Twitch users that the delay is to ensure a seamless, Kinect-enabled recording and broadcasting experience. Until then, Xbox One customers will be able to stream other users' Twitch channels from their devices. Owners can also use the console's SkyDrive feature to save and share gameplay clips. The Xbox One launches in North America this Friday.
