Gamers are having a field day with the recent story of a California resident who robbed 4 different GameStop locations to the tune of $131,000 worth of game consoles and $1,300 in cash.

The target of their jokes is GameStop's notorius trade-in system as the gaming community says the robber probably only received $130 from GameStop ($145 in in-store credit).  The thief would reportedly walk into GameStop locations just before they were closing, brandish a gun and order employees to fill bags with cash, consoles and games.

Still, there's lots of questions unanswered at this point.  From only 4 robberies, it seems as if the thief would have needed to clear out an entire store to amass a sum of $131,000.  It's reported that he would order store employees to help load his minivan.

In addition to his 10-year sentence, Frederick Lopez Jr. will have to pay back $132,300 in restitution.
