PlatinumGames and Nintendo surprised us all, during The Game Awards all the way back in 2017, when they announced that Bayonetta 3 was currently in development, and that it would be a Nintendo Switch exclusive title. Since the game was announced, however, we have had little to no information regarding the upcoming title.
A couple of months ago, Bayonetta series creator, and founder of PlatinumGames Hideki Kamiya gave us an update on the project — by simply stating that "development’s going really well," but not really giving any more information than that.
Just a couple of days ago, in the latest issue of Famitsu magazine, Kamiya also made some comments about Bayonetta 3, and how its development "is progressing smoothly." What's more, Kamiya also mentions that "there’s a lot of info hidden in the teaser announcement in 2017."
While there may be some hints hidden in the announcement teaser for Bayonetta 3, it is probably too cryptic to decipher any way. We'll just have to keep waiting for PlatinumGames to reveal some official information about the project; information that couldn't come soon enough.
