Last month, Portuguese retailer GamingReplay listed Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered on its website, revealing that BioWare and Electronic Arts' critically acclaimed series would be launching for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One at a later date.
The retailer in question immediately delisted this alleged Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered, which gave fans some hope, as it may mean that the game was unintentionally revealed before BioWare was able to make the announcement official.
A few days after the game was listed and removed by GamingReplay, new information revealed that the rumoured Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered was actually called Mass Effect Legendary Edition, and that it would no longer be released on Nintendo Switch; only PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
That was a day after the trilogy was also listed on a Czech retailer's website. It is important to mention that neither BioWare nor Electronic Arts have made any official announcements about this alleged Mass Effect Legendary Edition; not even a single tease.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition has not even been officially announced, and new information already suggests that the rumoured title is anything but confirmed, as the game has recently been rated on the Game Rating and Administration Committee in Korea.
According to this new information, the Mass Effect Legendary Edition is expected to launch at some point in 2021, as opposed to the 2020 release that it was initially rumoured.
In fact, Czech retailer Herní-svět.cz actually claimed that the game would launch on the Thursday 15th of October, which is tomorrow.
Again, neither BioWare nor Electronic Arts have made any official announcements in regards to this rumoured Mass Effect Legendary Edition, but at this rate all points to it being a real thing; all we need now is for the developers to officially unveil the game.
