PSP Leads Japanese Charts As Sales Decline Across All Platforms

Sony's PSP and PlayStation 3 led the Japanese hardware sales charts this week, as sales declined across all platforms, reports tracking firm Media Create. For the week ended February 6, the standard PSP hardware sold 30,475 units, followed by the PS3 with 23,846 units sold. Taking number three on the individual platforms chart was the Nintendo Wii at 14,972 units sold. Nintendo DS sales were consistent week-over week, with minimal sales drops across each version of the handheld. On the combined platforms chart, the Nintendo DS line took number three, selling 22,565 units across all its hardware versions.
