Konami announced a new Silent Hill Transmission event for May 30th. And, Bloober Team has shared the news, confirming that Silent Hill 2 Remake will be present in it.

As Konami stated, the Silent Hill Transmission event will provide updates to some Silent Hill games, a deeper look at the film, and new merch.
There are rumors suggesting that we’ll get the release date of Silent Hill 2 Remake at that event. This sounds plausible, and we can also expect a new gameplay trailer for it.
Realistic, though, I don’t expect any news for Silent Hill f. I will also be surprised if we hear anything about Silent Hill Townfall. Still, you never know.
In October 2023, Konami released Silent Hill: Ascension. That was a massively interactive live event (MILE), and not a traditional game. So, we might get an update on it at the event.
And… well… that’s all. Most Silent Hill players are now eagerly awaiting the news about Silent Hill 2 Remake. Silent Hill 2 Remake is powered by Unreal Engine 5, so it will be interesting to see how the game will run on the PC.
In October 2022, Konami shared some preliminary PC requirements. According to them, an NVIDIA RTX2080 and an AMD Radeon 6800XT will be able to run the game at 1080p on High Settings with 30fps. For those targeting 60fps, they’ll have to reduce the settings to Medium on GPUs equivalent to the RTX2080 and the 6800XT.
As said, those were preliminary PC specs. So, there is a chance Bloober Team will update them once Konami reveals the game’s official release date.
