STAR WARS JEDI: FALLEN ORDER Sequel And A Brand-New Title Currently In The Works, According To Rumour
Kotaku's very own Jason Schreier has recently revealed that, according to his sources, there are currently two Star Wars games in the works at Electronic Arts; one that doesn't really come as a big surprise, and another smaller project.

The first game that he mentions is a sequel to Respawn Entertainment's critically acclaimed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order — which, again, doesn't come as a big surprise; considering just how well the game has been doing, of course. Much information about the game's sequel hasn't been revealed, but Fallen Order has already managed to set up a sequel, so only time will tell when more information about this inevitable sequel will be revealed.

Now, the second game Schreier mentions is actually being developed by EA Motive in Montreal, Canada, and it is being regarded as a "smaller, more unusual project," which makes us wonder exactly what kind of game this could be.

Electronic Arts has a history of cancelling Star Wars titles in the past; two, to be more precise. According to Schreier's sources, a third Star Wars game, codename "Viking" and supposed to be a Star Wars Battlefront series' spin-off title, was also cancelled but hadn't been reported until now.

This Viking project should've seen the light in 2020 before it was axed by EA.

With the success that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has seen, it wouldn't be too far-fetched to believe that they could be willing to revive one of these cancelled projects. With all that said, all three of the cancelled Star Wars games weren't small projects, which makes things more confusing; if not, more interesting.
