We have some great news for fans of Capcom's long-running Street Fighter series, as the developer has recently announced that a free trial for the soon-to-be-released Street Fighter V: Champion Edition has become available today; giving players the chance to get the full experience ahead of the game's official launch.
As officially revealed by Capcom, this Street Fighter V: Champion Edition free trial will be featuring all of the 39 characters that have bee released for Street Fighter V and Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, including Gill from the Champion Edition, and will be available until the 9th of February for PlayStation 4 and Steam players.
It also seems that this free trial is only available for North American players, as I personally haven't been able to download the free trial. With that said, Street Fighter V is currently at a 60% discount, and players can get the base game for as little as $7.99 USD; perfect chance to purchase the game if you still haven't.
Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is supposed to give players the ultimate Street Fighter V experience, and is set to hit store shelves on the 14th of Februrary. Those who already own either Street Fighter V or Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition can purchase the Champion Edition add-on for $24.99 USD.
