One of the most iconic characters and worlds in video games is that of Super Mario Bros. Being that it is one of the earliest platformers created by Nintendo, the franchise has grown to become one of the biggest names in the industry.
Now, with the help of the creative minds at Universal Studios, the heroic plumber is making his way to the real world with Super Nintendo Land. Releasing in Universal Studios Japan first before going to its other parks worldwide, the area plans to bring to life some of the most iconic images of the Mario games.
NBC Universal Seems To Have Accidentally Revealed The Title Of THE SUPER MARIO BROS. MOVIE Sequel
Opening in phases, the park's first phase will include two rides, Super Mario Kart Ride and Yoshi's Adventures. The area will also feature a band system so that visitors can interact with the world with the character-specific bands and even earn a score! There is also a new Mario Cafe & Shop opening outside of the land this month that features some delicious foods like Fruit Cream Soda, a Pancake sandwich, and a Super Mushroom Drinking Bottle! The store will also feature some exclusive clothing and accessories!
