Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and JIKGUARD TECH PTE. LTD. (“JikGuard”, “we”, “us”), a company located in Singapore.

They apply to the JikGuard website, the JikGuard Protection Tool, its documentation, and related support we provide (together, the “Services”).

By purchasing a license or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that company.

If a signed agreement or order between you and JikGuard contains terms that differ from these Terms, the signed agreement or order applies to that difference.

Some Services require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.

Subject to these Terms and payment of the applicable fees, JikGuard grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services to protect builds of the package name assigned to your license during the license term.

Each standard license is assigned to one package name. Protecting a different package name requires a separate license. Changing the package name after protection may cause the protected app to fail to start.

While the license is active, you can create protected builds for the licensed package name, subject to fair use. You do not need a new license for each release of the same package name.

Standard pricing is not based on DAU, MAU, or player count.

The Protection Tool runs on Windows, Linux, and macOS and is used with your Android APK or AAB as part of your build process.

A connection to the JikGuard server is required to perform protection.

Your keystore, private signing key, and signing password remain in your environment and are not uploaded for protection. Final signing is performed by your team in your existing release workflow.

For Google Play App Signing, the workflow uses the App signing key certificate SHA-256 fingerprint from Play Console.

Standard licenses are prepaid for a fixed term, monthly or annual, as shown on the Pricing page or in your order.

Licenses do not renew automatically. To continue creating protected builds after a term ends, you need a new license term.

Protected builds that have already been released continue to run after the license expires. JikGuard does not remotely disable released builds.

An active license is required to create new protected builds.

Fees are set out on the Pricing page or in your quote or order, and are paid before the license term begins.

First-month pricing for the Monthly license is available once per package name.

Unless stated otherwise, fees do not include taxes. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.

You agree not to:

• use the Services to protect applications that you do not own or are not authorized to protect;
• share, resell, sublicense, or transfer your license, or use one license for more than one package name;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Protection Tool, or attempt to bypass its license checks, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• use the Services to create or distribute malware, or for any unlawful purpose;
• interfere with or disrupt the Services or JikGuard systems.

You keep all rights in your games, applications, and other content. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your applications to JikGuard.

You are responsible for having the rights needed to protect, sign, and distribute your applications.

Protected games do not need to connect to JikGuard while running on players’ devices.

JikGuard and its licensors own the Protection Tool, documentation, website, and related technology, including updates. Except for the license granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

If you choose to send us feedback, we may use it to improve JikGuard without any obligation to you.

Before distributing a protected build, you are responsible for:

• testing each protected build on your target devices and in your release workflow;
• keeping your own copies of original builds, project files, and signing materials;
• making sure your game, store listings, and privacy disclosures meet the laws and platform rules that apply to you.

JikGuard provides client-side protection for Android games. It is designed to make tampering, modification, and analysis more difficult. It does not replace server-side validation, account security, or other security measures.

No security product can prevent every attack. JikGuard does not guarantee that protected builds cannot be analyzed, modified, or bypassed.

Except as expressly stated in these Terms, and to the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.

To the extent permitted by law, JikGuard is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

JikGuard’s total liability arising from these Terms or the Services is limited to the fees you paid to JikGuard for the Services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You can stop using the Services at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you materially breach these Terms, including the acceptable use rules above, or where required by law.

When your license ends or is terminated, your right to create new protected builds ends. Protected builds you have already released are not remotely disabled.

Sections that by their nature should continue, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law, continue to apply after termination.

Each party will keep confidential any non-public information received from the other that is marked as confidential or would reasonably be understood to be confidential, and will use it only in connection with the Services.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page.

If a change materially affects your rights, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you, for example by email. Continued use of the Services after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
