32-bit classic rally game, Old School Rally, will be fully released on July 10th

Astrolabe Games and Frozen Lake Games have announced that their rally game, Old School Rally, will be fully released on July 10th. Old School Rally is inspired by the classic 32-bit PSX rally games like Colin McRae. And, to celebrate this announcement, the teams have shared a new trailer that you can find below.

Old School Rally is a fast and fun racing game that focuses on driving skill and quick moves. It has rally tracks from all over the world. As such, players will race on dirt, pavement, and snowy roads.

What’s also cool is that Old School Rally was made by just one person. It’s a love letter to classic 32-bit PS1 rally games. And you know what? It deserves your attention. Over the past few years, many gamers have been hoping for a fun, old-school arcade racing game. Well, here it is. This might be exactly what you’ve been waiting for. So, don’t miss out on it.

Old School Rally will not require a high-end PC system. According to its PC specs, it will run even on an Intel Core 2 Duo @ 1.6 GHz with 2GB of RAM and an Nvidia 6800, an AMD ATI X1300, or an Intel HD3000. The dev recommends an Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.4 with 4GB of RAM and an Nvidia GTS240, an AMD HD5570, or an Intel HD5200.

Now, as you will see in its latest trailer, this looks exactly like a 32-bit game. So, those PC specs make a lot of sense.
