505 takes over as publisher for Adidas' MiCoach game from THQ

Newsbrief: European firm 505 Games has secured the global publishing rights for a console game based on Adidas' MiCoach digital exercise-measurement platform this summer. THQ was originally set to release Adidas MiCoach (previously titled MiCoach 24/7), but the troubled publisher admitted in December that it was unable to ship the game. After Adidas sued the company for breach of contract, THQ settled the lawsuit and gave up the publishing rights for Adidas MiCoach. Developed by Chromativity, Adidas MiCoach is billed as a personal training system for various sports. The game will release for Xbox 360 and PlayStation with Kinect and PS Move support respectively. It will also interact with complementary mobile apps and the Micoach.com website.
