Nintendo has just revealed some information that will make Animal Crossing fans quite happy, as the company reveals that pre-purchases for Animal Crossing: New Horizons — the latest entry in the long-running social simulation series — have already become available on the Nintendo Switch eShop.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is also a special title, as it will be the first game in the series to be released on a home console — we could debate all day about the Switch also being a handheld console, but Nintendo also considers it a home console, so the point still stands — in over 10 years; with Animal Crossing: City Folk having been released for the Nintendo Wii all the way back in 2008.
