Yesterday, there were rumblings that the highly anticipated sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild won't be releasing until next year. A reputable insider by the name of Sabi has taken to social media to back these rumours. However, it's not all doom and gloom as Nintendo fans have another pair of big hitters to look forward to this year.
For a long while, it has been rumoured that Nintendo is working on a new Paper Mario game — that being a role-playing game series that kicked off back in 2000 and was last seen in 2016 on the Nintendo Wii U. This insider is now totally confident that the rumours are accurate and a new Paper Mario game will release for the Nintendo Switch later this year.
What's more; Sabi took the opportunity to tease another Super Mario game that they're pretty confident will also be releasing later this year. Sabi teases (via @New_WabiSabi) that the mysterious game he's referring to "has.. tires." Naturally, many have assumed that this means a new Mario Kart game is on the way.
That would certainly make sense as, thus far, the Nintendo Switch has gone without its own Mario Kart game — only featuring a port of Mario Kart 8 from the Wii U. It's been six years since a wholly new Mario Kart game revved its engines. So, we can only hope that Sabi is purporting the truth.

Botw2 taking longer than anticipated back during e3 2019, so it doesn’t seem to be this year’s holiday release, which adds more credence to the major title I was referencing on a tweet the other day. Neither are set in stone yet so take some salt. The more likely one has.. tires
