Of course, this feature carried over to the eighth generation console, the PlayStation 4, and will seemingly also be an option on the PlayStation 5. The next-generation kicks off in less than a month's time now.
The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are set to launch on November 13th and 10th respectively.
Despite the fast approaching launch date, neither consoles have yet revealed their user interface.
However, just the other day, Burger King teamed up with PlayStation to tease a forthcoming reveal. On October 15th, we should expect the PlayStation 5 user interface to be revealed.
That will be the standard home screen, however, according to this new listing on the PlayStation Store courtesy of Dead By Daylight; dynamic custom themes will be available.
For instance, a Dead by Daylight x Stranger Things theme is mentioned.

This all but confirms PlayStation 5 themes. Expect Sony to properly announce the feature during the user interface reveal that's expected to go down tomorrow.
