POKÉMON Super-Fan Recreates The Special Studded Ball From Meowth's Backstory In The Anime
These days it isn't very surprising to learn of life imitating art, with pop culture ruling style and as far as Pokémon is concerned, the two-decade old brand is constantly seeping into our reality, especially nowadays. What began as a game franchise became an anime, a manga, movies, trading cards, and so much more, but the phenomenon also leaks into the real world as well with as insanely popular as it has become.

Each day there are new reports of how the Pokémon world is continuing to blend with our own, from the advanced augmented technology features in and coming to Niantic's Pokémon Go, to the upcoming Pokémon Sleep, and not to mention the various Pokémon Centers, Pokémon Go Labs, Pokémon Hotels, and Pokémon bakeries accross the globe.

Fans are also often known to do what they can to blend reality and their favorite games/anime as well - whether that be through fan-art like the recent Gym Leaders for all types that were released or if it be through more intriguing methods, such as the impressive one used by Twitter User @giwango to recreate a specific item.

The item in question that @giwango brought to life is one from a Team Rocket Member's past - none other than Meowth. The diamond-encrusted Pokéball pictured in the tweet below emulates the one seen in a popular episode of the anime where fans finally learn how Meowth gained the ability of speech. As a poor cat, in order to impress the rich feline he liked, he taught himself to speak. The ball that his first love often stayed in is the spitting image of the replica seen below. Check it out!
