We're already almost a quarter of the way through Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's life-cycle. The most recent instalment in the long-running first-person shooter series initially proved to be quite a success with fans. Unlike many of the most recent Call of Duty games, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was a return to simple "boots on the ground" gameplay.
For a while, Call of Duty games abandoned realistic gameplay in favour of futuristic advanced movement — with the likes of jetpacks, cybernetics, and exo-suits enhancing the player-character's body. Players seemed to grow sick of this gameplay after countless years of it. However, some are still apparently eager to re-equip their jetpacks.
Recently, some Twitter users reached out to Treyarch's David Vonderhaar imploring him to ensure that the next Call of Duty game includes "jetpacks."
