Treyarch's David Vonderhaar Confirms The Next CALL OF DUTY Won't Feature Advanced Movement
We're already almost a quarter of the way through Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's life-cycle. The most recent instalment in the long-running first-person shooter series initially proved to be quite a success with fans. Unlike many of the most recent Call of Duty games, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was a return to simple "boots on the ground" gameplay.

For a while, Call of Duty games abandoned realistic gameplay in favour of futuristic advanced movement — with the likes of jetpacks, cybernetics, and exo-suits enhancing the player-character's body. Players seemed to grow sick of this gameplay after countless years of it. However, some are still apparently eager to re-equip their jetpacks.

Recently, some Twitter users reached out to Treyarch's David Vonderhaar imploring him to ensure that the next Call of Duty game includes "jetpacks." However, Vonderhaar shut down the request citing the playerbase's negative outlook toward their inclusion. You can check out the relevant tweets below (courtesy of Charlie INTEL):
