At this year's State of Play conference, Sony put a spotlight on a number of their biggest upcoming titles, but among the smaller games showcased at the event was Piccolo Studios' Arise: A Simple Story.
Not only is this adventure small in terms of public awareness, but as nascent studio, the development team isn't anywhere near as large as the ones behind some of the bigger triple-A games currently on the market.
As a result, even though the buzz surrounding Arise: A Simple Story isn't the same as excitement around The Last of Us II or Cyberpunk 2077, many are keeping a watchful eye on how well the studio delivers on its very first game.
And while we ultimately have to wait until the games launch on December 3rd to render our judgement, a new behind-the-scenes video has been released, detailing the intriguing origin behind the game and Piccolo Studios itself.
