Bethesda has recently shared a lengthy list of patch notes for DOOM and DOOM II, as a free new update has become available today for all platforms these titles have recently released on; namely PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, iOS, and Android devices.
As revealed by the developer, both DOOM and DOOM II will now be getting a locked 60 frames per second, some much-needed aspect ratio options, a handy level select option, the mandatory performance optimisations, and even a very useful quick save feature.
What's perhaps the most interesting feature that the developers have added is John Romero's SIGIL add-on as part of the DOOM series' 25th anniversary, as well as other megawads from the DOOM community.
Since the full list of patch notes is too lengthy to post here, we encourage you to visit Bethesda's official website for DOOM by clicking right here.
