Plano, Texas-based Gearbox Software (Borderlands, Duke Nukem Forever) has secured a new 61,000-square-foot space inside a new Dallas-area project. According to the Dallas Business Journal, the developer is the first to lease space in a three-building project called Frisco Square, which also contains apartments, retail, and additional commercial space. The move won't be coming anytime soon, however: construction on the building is not scheduled until early next year, with a completion date estimated at spring of 2013. The studio is currently at work on Borderlands 2, as well as the licensed Aliens: Colonial Marines. The studio's latest release was Duke Nukem Forever which, despite generally negative reviews, proved to be profitable for publisher Take Two Interactive.
